RODE M2 Microphone
RODE M2 Microphone is a rugged live-performance condenser microphone designed to provide full frequency response and premium performance on stage.
Featuring a tailored-for-stage super-cardioid polar pattern and an internal shock-mounted 1/2″ condenser capsule, the M2 provides a high-quality alternative to dynamic microphones for live performance. The addition of an on/off switch adds versatility for artists who prefer greater control over their sound, while a lock ensures that the microphone cannot be accidentally switched.
It delivers a full-frequency response for exceptionally detailed voice reproduction on stage and its tight super-cardioid polar pattern ensures a focused sound that minimizes spill and feedback. The M2 also features a lockable on/off switch for added versatility.
The RODE M2 live condenser microphone is designed and made in Australia, and covered by RODE Microphones’ industry-leading 10-year warranty.
Combining sound quality equal to that of the finest studio microphones with features such as integrated
shock mounting to reduce handling noise and tailored response to reduce feedback, the M2 is a sturdy, versatile addition to your live microphone kit.
The M2 requires a power supply, which for optimum results should be a ?P48? standard, 48-volt DC Supply. Most professional mixing consoles have an internal 48-volt supply; Ensure that the power supply you use is a professional unit that is operating correctly.
The M2 comes complete with a microphone stand mount (RM1). This should be used to attach the microphone to a good-quality stand. The stand mount includes a thread adaptor, allowing connection to either 3/8? or 5/8? stand thread.
