At the heart of the System 20 PRO is the ATW-R1440 receiver, which supports up to four paired transmitters. For maximum flexibility, receiver units can remain docked in a half-rack chassis or be mounted remotely up to 328 feet away using standard Ethernet cables. Up to five receiver chassis can be interconnected using the included RJ12 cable, enabling the use of up to 20 channels simultaneously in HD mode. Users can also switch to Standard mode for 10 channels with ultra-low latency—perfect for situations where timing is critical.

Simplified Setup and Remote Control

Audio-Technica’s Wireless Manager software makes system configuration and management easy, offering centralized control of multiple System 20 PRO units, along with other 2.4 GHz, UHF, and DECT wireless devices—all from a single interface. The software allows users to monitor RF levels, battery status, and link quality, and to save entire configurations as project files for future recall.

Reliable Digital Audio and Secure Performance

With 24-bit/48 kHz digital transmission, System 20 PRO delivers pristine, low-latency audio across all channels. Built-in AES128 encryption ensures secure communication, making it suitable for confidential environments. Transmitters are pre-paired out of the box and support full-day operation on a single charge. OLED displays on transmitters and receivers provide clear visibility of key parameters. The system is compatible with ATW-CHG3 and ATW-CHG3N series charging docks for convenient battery recharging. Bodypack transmitters include a water- and sweat-resistant cW-style connector, compatible with Audio-Technica’s lavalier and headworn microphones.

Flexible Output and Professional Features

Each receiver offers mixed output, allowing audio from multiple channels to be combined for systems with limited input availability. The chassis features a System ID display with real-time RF signal level, system ID, battery status, and link status indicators. The package also includes short and long rack ears, with the option to join two half-rack units to fill a standard 19″ rack space.
